Ok, I admit it. I am stumped. If you look at the "Air Distribution Control Knob" (<<---- anyone want to bet or confirm that in German that is all one word? hehehehe), there is, at the bottom, a little "eye" or lense looking thingy.<br />

I have pored over the owners manual, but I can find no explanation for this item. I initially thought it would be some sort of light that would let me know when the a/c compressor was cycling on and off, but no, that's not it. Is it an internal air tempertaure…

Maybe it is a hidden camera so "they" can start watching me again! Now where did I put my medication this morning? (JOKE!) Or is it possible that our German car with a Japanese engine all put together in France also contains a Buddhist dimension?<br />

Anyway, any insight (no pun intened) that may solve this mystery is appreciated. I'm not losing sleep over this mystery ....yet. ;-)
