Windshield Replacement in Houston Area

Anyone out there who has changed the Windshield already?
I got mine cracked on I-10..And I don't know where to take it besides the dealership.
which I believe it is quite expensive....Any suggestions Houston Smarters ??
My Windshield doesn't have the Light -rain sensor..so I don't think it will be as expensive as the one that has it
I will appreciate any info !!

Brabus...Issues??

Anyone out there have had issues with the BRABUS edition..
I haven''t heard anything yet...And since I am about to trade my Cabriolet for a Coupe Brabus..
I would like to know if this special edition have given any problem to anyone out there!!

Here goes again...
I like my car but this is getting ridiculous..
The Transmission needs to be replaced and Smart/MB just told me
that they don't provide a loaner car at all..they said it is not part of warranty.....plus the "repair" could take one or more than one day.....accordingly to Smart North Houston.
I don't know what to do now. I was really excited waiting for the car..but now I am very dissapointed after finding out a different failures with the car...
It shouldn't be so difficult...
First the rear view mirrors vibrate while driving.
Second the Check engine light came on......
Third one..the transmission make some weird noises while
shifting from 1st to 2nd gears
Ahhh and Four one...the shifter got "locked up".......

I don't know what you guys doing out there, but I think I got most of the deffects everybody has been comenting out there...

If everything continues this way I would probably have to file a complaint thru LEMON LAW to see if I can get my money back..

TRANSMISSION CHANGE SOON...

Guys,
As I mentioned before I was hearing a rattleling sound coming from the back of my car..Well...I took it to the dealer..and after testing my car and other cars including brand new ones (mine is three weeks old though) we found out that my car had an extra sound coming from the back, most probably from the engine. Sound was louder, especially when you were driving in low speed and the car was doing its automatic shifting....
Anyway...result:

The service specialist contact SMART and they are going to replace the transmission...I just have to wait for it to be sent from Germany..

I have to tell that workshop guy was very sceptical, but after testing the other cars he realized I wasn't over reacting I think!!.

I feel much better with the service they are offering now. It feels more
reliable.
Hope they can continue that way!!

PS: HAS SOMEBODY HAVE THIS ISSUE OR PROBLEM WITH THE CAR YET TO SHARE EXPERIENCES??

Vibrating Mirror

Well, I am back to talk about the mirror...
My mirrors still the same "VIBRATING" ..YEP.. it is not only the side driver but the inside rear view mirror too...and as many of you out there I am very dissapointed.
My Smart Service Expert in North Houston told me that they opened a case..
I don't really know if that would help us in some way or another...But I think all of us who
share the same issue with our mirrors should write directly to Smart and complain to
see if we can get that to become a recall or so...I did it already, I wrote them my experience, and I have not received any answer yet...
I think if we get a lot of people file a complain on that they will have to do something...
HEY IT IS A BRAND NEW CAR...IT IS NOT FREE AND ACTUALLY WE ARE
PROMOTING THE BRAND...WE EXPECT A GOOD PRODUCT..THATS WHAT WE ARE
PAYING FOR...
Hey out there, your mirrors don't have to shake...
Please make a complain..go to your dealer and don't forget to write to Smart.

We have to get that fix!!!

Rattle sound....

Have any of you guys have heard a rattle sound after driving your car on the highway for 20 to 35 minutes.... I am not sure if this is normal
but there is this rattle sound that comes out of the engine or so..
and I can hear it clearly and loud when I am getting in the cover parking garage of my office beacuse of the echo. Could be transmission?..It is only when is in low gear when I am looking for the spot in the garage and after driving higher speed of 60-65 on th Hwy..

Have anybody out there experimented this sound before...
should I take it to Smart/MB again?

Rear dirver mirror Shaking

I just got my Cabriolet and I have notice my rear side mirror vibrates
once I am on the road..
Has somebody else have hd this problem...Do you think I need
to contact the dealer to let them adjust the mirror..Or is it normal because of the size of the car??
