I'm taking the first steps in upgrading the sound system in my smart. I know that the speakers are 6 1/2" but what I dont know is how much depth there is to work with behind the speaker. Since we have to work with limitations, I want to be able to put in the best door speakers I can without having to modify the interior door panel. Please, if you know how much space there is to work with behind the door speakers, I'd love to hear from you. If you've already done an upgrade, I'd like to know…
