Share 'How fast can a smart get?'

I've heard that people do a lot of modifications and upgrades to their smart to make it more "sporty". What's the max speed of a factory smart (after removing the governor if one exists)? Does anyone know what are the typical top speeds after the sport mods? [Edit: the site says that "smart" is properly spelled with all lower case, so I made the change in my post accordingly.]
