SmartCar Performance has teamed up with Adkins Performance to bring the community another Turbo Kit. This turbo kit is unlike other kits. This has a rear mounted intercooler that fits right below the rear valence of the car. This kit uses a Garrett GT1241 turbo. This turbo kit can be programmed for the amount of horsepower you want. So you can have 100 HP at the wheels or as high as 150 HP at the wheels.
This Turbo is manufactured by Adkins Performance and will do all installations for this product. Or talk you through it over the phone, for those further away.

Recently, there was a thread that was shortly advertised for under $2,000. Well, we looked into our system and found out we can offer the same but with more power.
Not only that, we will even give you a choice of what type of exhaust you want. We will have:
1. A straight side pipe, for maximum performance
2. A pipe that goes down the side like the stock exhaust
3. Center Dual Exhaust.
This system downgrade version of our current Turbo system but will offer you maximum power for what you get.

External waste gate and blow off valve
32mm wastegate gate and 36 mm blowoff valve v-band
stainless steel braided vacuum line
Stainless Stee T-bolt Clamps
4-6 hours labor to install
Since there is no intercooler, there will be room to put any type of exhaust that you choose.
The quietest option will be with our new muffler/exhaust design.
If you add the intercooler this will take up the space for the exhaust so you will end up with just a straight pipe. The cost with an intercooler will be $2,700.
The advantage of the intercooler is that you will be able to nearly double the pressure in the system giving you an additional 15-25 HP at the wheels.
