Emerald Coast Smart Enthusiasts Club!!!

My wife picked up her Smart this month. I thought she would like meeting other Smart owners in the area, so I started this Emerald Coast Smart Enthusiasts Club discussion. The goal would be to find other Smart owners along the Florida panhandle and meet up on the weekends for some fun.

I had the "How much?" question multiple times.
My answer is: $12,000 naked and can go up to double if it is a cabriolet with all the bells and whistles including extended guaranty, tire protection, transportation and taxes.

Greetings, I love the photos! I am looking for insight about a comfort package option item - electric power steering. Is this option a must have? Does anyone own a Smart that does not have this option? Your insight will be greatly appreciated.

Of the 4 Smart cars in the club 2 have power steering and 2 do not. The women said that it drove fine -- no problems. Hope this helps.

Hi,
I own the Yellow Cabrio in the photo. I did not purchase power steering and it is no problem at all. Easy and fun to drive!!

I picked up my car 12 days ago. I do not have my paper work back from dealer yet.

The attached article was on the front page of The Community section of the June 5th Navarre Press. While the reporter didn't get the "get up and go" part correct, she did like the Smart enough to put down her own reservation.

We're planning our next get together now and details will be posted sometime next week.
