Was this also from 4smartcar.com? I want to put both the underdash unit in and would love to also have a rear sub. This unit looks great.
John at smart/mercedes of Tampa Florida installed this self contained sub/amp behind his passsager seat in his 451. Lots of bass in a very small package.

i have two rears and a front from a 2008 pure for sale, balanced WITH the tpms intact. they have 20K miles on them and would make perfect spares. asking $130 each. i'm in the chicago area, if you require shipping, that will be "at cost".
Sounds like you should have bought a Tow Truck, and not a Smart...
I have a front wheel and tire for sale off my 2008 passion with 12000 miles on them. No TPMS but balanced . I am keeping one for my self as a spare. I put rear rims all around car with 195/50 15 on rear now.

Try taking it to an electric motor rebuilding shop and see if they can overhaul it. If the armature is bad, they may be able to rewind it. Other then the armature having a concern, the motor should be rebuildable.

The Dealer took it out cleaned it as you suggested and declared it DOA.
Does anyone know where to buy an exhaust system for a 2005 Smart fortwo diesel without going through a dealer?
