Hey Larry, The hood add on is put on just like the air scoop you put on your car. But when I received it in the mail, It didn't have the two sided tape with it. Went to local parts store for a roll of it. About $5 dollars. Just clean your hood with alcohol real good. Do the same with the hood scoop edges . line up the tape down the edges under the scoop, press it down good to make sure it sticks good. line the scoop up with the hood,peal off the other side of tape and place on hood in position. Be careful. once it sticks, it will be hard to take up to reposition. It only sticks to hood. The part in front of the grill below the hood does not stick to anything, It took me about 15 minutes to put mine on. I can't tell if my temperature runs any warmer or not on the car, but I like the look it gives.If you have noticed, the scoop is $500 dollars shipping and handling. I really didn't want to spend that much $ , but after I got it and put it on, I think it really puts a cool sports car look to it.
