that's nice for all us poor folk with 2008's, as soon as a good aftermarket one is available, i'll pop it in mine! MB went sideways when they quit making I-6 engines and made V-6's and then turn signals on mirror caps... talk about going ghetto!!!!

I personally see the turn signals on the mirrors as very effective. I on several ocasions have been saved from an accident because the other person or I saw the blinking light at the last moment as both of us intended to change lanes being almost parallel to each other. American cars dont have turn signals on the sides of the vehicle as most Euro and Asian Cars on the othe side of the pond do!
If safety is Ghetto.. well call me 55cent
