Many years ago I saw a Toyota Echo with a Lexus "L" badge and thought it was hilarious. I would put the MB tri-star just for a few laughs.
Today I was driving and several MBs just could not take their eyes off my smart, so why not have them frantically call the dealer only to hear that there is a 18-month waiting list to get one. That is about as exclusive as a Lambo.
Heck, when I reserved my 07 BMW X5 Sport, I complained about a 6 month wait. So imagine the look on their faces when they get off the phone.
I sold the bimmer a few months ago, a very nice ride, though our cars are much more fun. I have a pic somewhere of the X5, here we go. - Attachments:

I bought one but have not installed it. Will look good in the front. If you have not bought one buy the 350 trunk emplem. It is the right size.

Just ask the parts department they will give it to you. Tell them for a 350E.

Our cars are anything but a serious car.. Dont get me wrong, I love my smart, but its not an X5 or a CLK... So we can and do have fun at the expense of those that do compensate their self worth with a vehicle... In a smart you are compensating for nothing! or at the very least.. for very little!
I'm a 6'3" 175 pound guy that, I've been told is very intimidating at first sight... I love getting out of the smart and people just dont know what to think! My job takes me to high end construction of million dollar homes.. Most guys there have a 250 or 350 dual cab or duallys. And here I come in a car that could easily fit in their truck bed and still have room for their tools.... Point is I do care! I get a huge laugh every time. I break alot of ice and believe me they remember me! so its not a poser issue its an issue of simplifying your life, saving a little green in the wallet AND being alittle green for the planet... All while making a couple of pompus people GREEN in the face!
