Has this happened to your smart ????

Okay, new here so go easy on me !!, anyway the wifes smart 451........

wasn't going to get ripped of by smart for servicing car as they were charging like £ 100 +vat for labour.

So i did it myself, every thing went fine, although couldn't find info for resetting service light, but hey its wifes car so not a problem for me... ha haa . Anyway around a week later the sun came out in England, time for i once a year use of air con. Unfortunately for her for no apparent reason it decides not to work.

I searched internet for wiring diagrams etc, but couldn't find anything so hey its one day a year i will have to take the flack of wife, nothing unusual there. ha ha ha ..... anyway six months on, last night i found a an excellent procedure to reset service indicator light, and hey presto it reset ...... the thing is i tried the air con and guess what ??? It's working again, my question is has this happened to anyone's else smart . cause it seems to me it has been defaulted to stop working if you don't get car serviced by mr greedy smart..........look forward to hearing your comments....
