hi jim,i used the original panels. my paint guy had to spend a lot of time sanding them smooth to get rid of the grain and make them as smooth as the body parts before painting. he said was time consuming cause if you worked too hard the plastic had a tendency to get hot and want to melt. he did not just use a lot of filler for the sake of durability. did nothing to suspension for wheels & tires. just bolt them on. handles and looks great.. bud

Bud, one word for your smart...AWESOME! A few questions - did you paint the original parts? Did they have to do anything special to get a soomth finish instead of the grain on the black parts? on your wheels & tires - did you have to do anything to the suspension to allow them to fit?
Thanks in advance for any info on these questions.

hi bruce, wheels are schmidt spaceline front 16x6.5 rear 16x7. tires yoko s.drive f 195/45r16 r 215/40r16. i chose to purchase new sensors from tire rack for $72ea {i think they are about $130 from smart} so i didn't have to break down the stock wheels to remove and use them over. that way the originals are intact and ready to be put back on the car if i so desire. thanks for the compliment and i hope i answered your question. cheers, bud

Where do we all buy these ? Your car looks top notch now ! It looks so much better then it did with the stock wheels. It seems to tie in better with the silver trim. Great wheels !
My heater fan in the last few weeks has sometimes not been going on right away but rather after a while. Is this normal?
Sometimes its on instantaneously, other times it goes on after a bit.
Usually when it is extremely cold.
Thanks!
