Mine came with it fitted as standard, if you brake hard at over 70kmh your hazard/indicator lights flash automatically.
I cant be sure but i think its law on all new cars in europe, its like it on my BMW as well........

Yes mine works very well. I bought it on Ebay and it took a few minutes to install.
I put in a rear alert from eBay several months ago. It's a very simple, 10 minute install and the unit works great.
Be careful with the other flashing 3rd rear high-mounted brake lights. Before buying mine, I did some research with the NHTA and due diligence with the various companies and found out that any brake lights that flashing are not legal and can get use…
