I am sorry but for me if you want AC you should sell your 2008 pure and buy a new Smart with AC. In the long run it would be the most inexpensive way to go.

AC unit help
i own a 2008 pure modle and i bought one without AC. i know, what was i thinking. but now i am trying to find a unit to put into my smart and i am having no luck. please help. i live in virginia beach. the car has room for one and everything. does anyone know if i can buy it as a kit or as seperate parts. i don't care what i have to do at this point. i just need help finding something. I had an Imperial speedo put in to the smart, but it is still reading in kms. There is an electronic flash that is supposed to change it to read the proper MPH from what I understand.
I'm curious... and in Australia with a fully Metric smart. And confused by your question.
The Imperial units (USA) speedo has a face plate calibrated 0 to 100 mph
