I often drive in the manual mode for the better performance, but in automatic when I'm feeling calm and happy.
If you want to read other owner complaints, visit <451series.com>. The consensus there is that it's the clutch system, including the clutch pressure plate. Replacement seems to cure these transient shifting problems.

Hi to all that have had trans. problems. One big question has the problem been fixed and how long did it take. And how many miles have you gone without the problem happening again?
