hi Andrew, thanks for your comments ; good to hear others opinions and experiences. good to know that you agree with the cooler pipes making no difference as per my thoughts. as to the tik, well if its the old fashioned turbo kick that i feel; good,…

sorry i dont agree, i have both tested with a g-tech and on a dyno and have fount there to be ZERO gains when using the complete package.... the main difference for you believing that the car goes faster now other than the fact it cost $$$ and you…

its not that hard at all but you will get a few scrapes trying to get to the jubilee clips. first take off the side skirts, boot panel then boot and finally the whole back end to get to the lower tik jubilee clip and intercooler pipe. look here; htt…

Fitted Mocal silicon Tik and intercooler pipes to my 451 turbo

bought these a few weeks ago from Wellsmart in the uk and fitted them last weekend.note this is a uk car ; 451 turbo cabrio 84ps standard but with SRuS remap (german, think its from berlin tuning?) lowered and stiffened sus.the Tik pipe is what i think makes the real difference!!! improves the breathing no-end getting rid of that plastic thing fitted as standard.when i took off the original intercooler pipes and put them next to the mocal ones i could visibly see NO DIFFERENCE, so i reckon they…See More

the car had 175/50 on the back and 155/55 on the front; i put the rears on the front and bought 195/45 for the rear. lower and harder springs by about 35mm improved the handling especially with the remap. in the pic you see the evil twin centre exha…

Hi, thanks for the info, i got a full set from Ian at Big Performance but no clips came with them, i reused the exsisting ones, however i ran into a few issues with the TIK not being long enough to reach the air filter and the bottom intercooler was too short at well.

Did you use the seal at the turbo end or did you clip the tik directly to the turbo?

By any chance did you take any photos during your install or the final result? if so could you email me some to look over, the replacement set i've been sent looks too short as well.

yeah it makes such a difference to performance, with just the remap i didn't think the car was that quick, but now its only a matter of time before i get into trouble having fun.

Regards Chi

Thanks for the advice, another question, did you reuse the original clips or did you use new ones?

Hi, I've had the 450 smart with all the upgrades it made a great rasping induction noise and now iv got myself a 451, does the tik and IC pipes create a new induction sound?

Looking to get these pipes
