It's been since mid November that I placed my customized order and finally after thinking it was a February delivery, then a March delivery, I'm to pick up my brand new Smart fortwo on Wednesday April 30. I can honestly say that I was getting pretty impatient and I don't know how many people could have held off this long without getting somewhat upset. I know that our American Friends have been waiting much longer and patiently for the delivery so I shouldn't gripe so muh.
I will let you know how things are when I return from a week's vacation in the Toronto & th Niagara region. I won't have had much time to test drive it before my long 5hr road trip but it certainly will be a comfort test on the 401 with all those big 18 wheelers. If I get too stressed I'll just take the old Hwy 2 along the St. Lawrence and Lake Ontario to decompress.

- OK, I don't feel so impatient with that kind of news. With an 18th month wait you might as well just wait for the next model upgrade. Probably a light hybrid or bio diesel version will be just arround the corner.
