I have unlocked my Smart by accident by having too many objects in my pocket.

But if some crook has devised a wireless tool to unlock your smart (this is a growing problem with other makes in the USA), you may need to deactivate the wireless circuit before you leave the car for the night and use the key to lock and unlock it.

I do not know how to do this but it may not be difficult.

Tanks for your reply, but i dont think a remote wireless device is the problem because in the same night all 4 Smart 451 (mine and other neighbors) were open with de same method.

No aperent marks on the doors or boot.

There must be a way that crook's are using to easily open the Smart Fortwo.

On last tuesday the same appened again.

Can any one have a clue what's going on ????

Hello Rui

I Had the same problem, i have my smart at 15 days and my car was thefh.

In police depart they tell me that open the car forcing the window, after they open the door.

My car don't have any scretch or broken window, smart need to do something to stop this.

I'm disappointed with Smart.
