Smart Car (Must do item)

I always found that the interior of the Smart has kind of echo sound or the exhaust sound coming inside the cabin. Recently I purchased the Safety Plus Package and installed it in the cargo compartment. The Safety plus package has a thick foam cushion. It fits right in and then it also comes with a thick foam cover that attaches to the inside of cargo door opening.
To my amaze as I drove my car it was much more quite inside. The Exhaust sound had gone down even the engine sounded much quite.
Conclusion.
The empty cargo compartment just becomes a echo chamber and acts like a amplifier of sounds. ( I recommend this item strongly to every Smart owner).

These vents are right below the Cargo compartment. The cargo compartment heats up thus transferring heat into the passenger cabin. Have to insulate the cargo compartment.; ▶ Reply to This

The cargo compartment you can check yourself. Drive your car as you normally do. When you make a stop open the cargo compartment and check for heat. You will feel what I am talking about.; ▶ Reply to This
