Smart Center Bloomfield is going to be in Grand Rapids the first week of February for the Car Show. It would be great to see the local owners participate in some activities and make our presence known for the show.

Did anyone notice a burning smell , when they first got thier smart? I metioned it to Shane at the Bloomfield dealership and he said that it was just normal new car stuff and would burn off in a tank or two? Just wondering if anyone else had that ?

Yes - it wears off pretty quick. I suppose that it comes from oils on the metal parts that haven't seen much real heat.

I just wanted to take a moment to comment that I also live in Grand Rapids and am expecting my smart car some time between April- June 2009. I would love to meet up and drive around in a group once it gets here!
