My wife finds the sun visor too short so I fitted a green translucent extension which just clips on. These are available from most car accessory shops in the UK for around £10.
The plastic clip on that I found here (USA) are articulated on the long axis (flip down). I don't need that.
I would like to find something that either slide or flip on the tip of the visor to make it longer. My main problem is the sun coming right at me from the side (when driving North in the evening or South in the early morning). The visor covers only a small portion of the side window.
I would appreciate any link to distributor of such visor extender.
Hi Pierre;
Did you ever get your sunvisor problem resolved? I had the same problem you had and I couldn't find a commercial shade which extended far enough back or went low enough to give me coverage. I sit too low in the seat and too close to the side window. I had to "noodle-up" a sunscreen on my own.
It is not pretty, but it works. I have a web site where I have tutorials on all the mods I'm making on my smart. Give the site a look-see. You may not like the screen I made up, but it may give you some ideas on what would work for you.
The site is at - http://bluemaxmods.com/
Let me know if this helped or not.

I just received my "Super Sun Blocker - Extend-A-Visor TM".
This sun blocker works in 2 ways: - there is an opaque black plastic slider that extend the length of the visor (when turned towards the door) and there is a horizontal UV blocking sunscreen that slides down (not really needed with the SMART, unless you are very short). Made in plastic but does the trick.
No Jim, your stalk is a different design. I do, however, have here just one single cup holder in stock designed for your stalk (see picture). It is $65 and I'll ship it free just to clear it from inventory since it doesn't work on the ...
Hi folks,
I own a 450 modified for use in the USA. Will these cup holders and CD holder attach to the Vertical screw-in Panel in my 2006 Model 450 Gen One vehicle ? ? ?
