- wouldn't you have gotten more airflow into your intercooler if it was rotated 90 degrees? airflow is already going underneath the car... on the 02 turbos i've seen a air scoop that increases undercarriage airflow from bottom > up... the same could have been done with your intercooler. i commend you for turbo ing the smart. but this is just my 2 cents... of input... you don't have to take up my advice...

Here's one of us ! ! ! I too would like to find folks who were the forerunners of all the "johnny come lately" 451 owners. I love my sweet little Mercedes-Benz powered SMART, turbocharged, 6-speed trany !
