I accidentally adjusted the time and it went into military mode i.e.14:00 etc. and i cannot seem to figure out how to make it go back to am/pm
Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks!!

What smart do you have, year and model? I went to the 451 owner's manual and there is no mention of this feature.

its the 451, in the manual it shows the american (miles) and canadian (kilometers)
in the american picutre there is an am/pm, on the canadian its not.

wondering if there is no am/pm on canadian versions.

I notice you're from Canada. I am from the US. In my US manual it notes that all Canadian models use military (24 HR) clock as opposed to AM/PM. So it seems if you have a Canadian model your stuck with what I call "nuclear time" (the time all nuclear power plants use) I'd bet there is a way to change it through the dealer. I sure will be glad when someone hacks the software so we can fix simple stuff like this ourselves with our own laptop.

the dealer didnt know how to fix it haha. the crazy thing is, i can see where the am/pm would appear when the sun hits the lcd screen.

Absolutely correct, the owner's manual I have saved on my computer does not say that, but the new owner's manual that we hand out for the 2.0 campaign does. Anestis, are you certain you haven't had a 24 hour clock this whole time and just didn't notice it? Maybe you've just been looking at the clock in the morning rushing to get to work? :)

Now i'm second guessing myself and it probably makes sense. I always look at the clock in the morning to go to work and after, I dont really care. You might be right. I think the thing that probably threw me off is that it shows the am/pm in the manual on the page with the american dashboard, then the next page shows kilometres and military time. I"m getting used to the 24 hour clock now anyway. I had to count on my fingers after 12:00 to figure it out but i'm getting better at it! haha

Thanks for all your help though!!

Ha, ha... plumbing would be a challenge... not to mention head room to sit on a "throne". Really though, it is amazing what can fit in the fortwo. Cheers for the picture.

I'll bet I'm the only person with a four-seater 451... You can't quite say this turns a fortwo into a forfour, I suppose. I call it my tiny pick-up truck, and I find it useful for all sorts of chores, including hauling these two toilets off to th...

Your post is really old but on the off-chance you haven't found your answer yet I'll go ahead and post. I assume you're talking about the dash-end connector, not the one inside the tach itself. I've attached a photo of the connector. Pin 1 is to ...
