I have a cracked tire pressure monitor. I found this out when I went to add air after the dash light came on. The monitor light did go off after air was added. Does anyone know if this is okay to drive with a crack one? I got prices of 4 monitors for $399.00. I told the place I need only one but they don't sell them separately. Air seems to be staying in the tire fine.

I have had the same problem, they are silver anodized aluminum sleeve nuts that hold the TPM to the inside of the wheel. I had a white knuckle moment when the nut split and I experienced a sudden pressure loss in the front left tire at 100 kph! Don't these German engineers know salt and aluminum don't mix! These nuts are available as a replacement part so if there is not too much corrosion to the TPM stem they can be replaced, use generous quantities of antiseize on reassembly!
