I typically keep my headlights on auto mode. Recently I've noticed an intermittent issue where during the day, my headlights turn on on their own even though it is not dark or cloudy. Yesterday my headlights where on for about an hour, then clicked off for awhile only to come back on again 15 minutes later. Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Mine will do the same thing. If I drive under some trees or in the shadows, the headlights will come on and stay on for awhile even in strong daylight. They will eventually go out but seem to come on at just a hint of darkness, except for today when we experienced a rare overcast day and the headlights did not come on. I just let it do it's own thing and I don't worry about it anymore. Most cars now have DRL's so the headlights coming on during the day is not a big deal. If it annoys you, you can manually turn them off.
