Ok i thought 3 year warrenty meant 3 years not 30 days anyways i took my 451 into armstrong prestige a mercedes-benz dealer and the only place in new zealand that i can get repairs.
The heater inside the car stopped working then i took it in for repairs and they said they were waiting for the part and i had 30 days to bring the car in for reapair so i waited for a call i never got a call and called them and booked it in then they call and said come in to pick up you car its done so i went in to pick it up my car when i get dropped off there they give me a bill for $210.38 NZD for 1.7hrs labour and say pay it now or you cant have your car.
I say isnt it under warrenty? they then say its past 30 days so you will have to pay for labour now i had work in 30 mins from the time i arrived after them scanning my credit card to prove i didnt have the money on me i said i would need the invoice so i can pay it at a later date like 2 days then he says ok you can have your key so i got my car and bill also 30 mins late to work but does anyone out there think this is fair?

I called smart New Zealand and told them my story and they said you have had alot of issues with them (armstrong prestige) and smart NZ would pay the bill
The last time i had my car serviced from armstrong prestige i got home and thought i would check the oil just to make sure it was a quater overfill so i called them and asked how much oil does a smart engine hold and they couldnt answer me because they didnt know so i had to go back in to get some sucked back out i know these people dont have a clue about smart cars because the manual tells you how much oil it holds.
useless service and the only place i can get it serviced
