Car radio needs to be re coded every time it is turned off even when the care is running! So its not a low battery issue in case that's a suggestion. SAFE is registering on the radio.The water separator light comes on now and then even though I just replaced it and there was no water in the canister ( after dumping the fluids into a glass jar and letting it sit)
When the car is locked with the remote the odometer read out on the dash, stays lit.
When you open the door and disengage the lock it the read out shuts off.
I know I'm going to get response about wiring is the issue but I'm hoping for something more specific if possible.

Since my last posting I had to bring the car to the dealer because one of the replacement keys I received from Mercedes died.
And no it wasn't the battery The service adviser suggests it could be corrosion around connect 123 in the SAM module.
Well I'll know tomorrow after they empty my bank account to find out Ha ha You have to laugh at $128.an hour

That is one funny typo! The comments section held a few annoying bits, though. One of the detractors unwittingly provided some comedy relief by spelling aero as in aerodynamic "arrow". A real clever guy, claiming that our cars are not arrow dynamic.
I, too am concerned about the brand's continuing viability - and after reading RandyH's reply, makes me think that by purchasing my 2009 Passion coupe used from the original owner, I could have done better price-wise to have gone to the local dealer…
