LOL, i do the same thing, if i'm in a resturaunt, if someone walks close to my smart, i hit the lock button and the car beeps and blinks.
my panic button went off a couple days ago when other keys hit it while stuffing my key ring into my pocket.

People won't stop touching my car!!!!!! People come up out of the blue and touch the car. I get it......they want to check it out....but look with your eyes.

I was at Peets Coffee the other day with friends. The Smart was parked out front. We hit the panic button when there was either a potential nose print on my window, or someone physically touched the car. It did cause a woman to jump back....trip on the curb and take a minor spill....... Ok, I will now justify something.....If she is inconsiderate enough to print up my car, she deserved to fall on her ass.
