Ram Air Intake Scoop

I installed a ram air intake scoop.
Felt stronger acceleration at highway speeds.
It will even perform better as I install a better air filter.
It is a good item to add dose work well.

I installed my same one a couple days ago. Why did you opt to remove the screen?

The screen on mine did not look good.
Can you post your picture?

...OK correct me if I'm wrong, but why will you go to such a small opening?
...seems to me that you just created a severe restriction for you intake by reducing the area plus the original plastic scoop underneath...

I think in the picture it looks small. It is very large when you look at it. It pushes allot more air in.

what if you install the cold air induction system? that puts the air intake near the bottom of the car.
i think this scoop is a "placebo", it's almost as bad as the magnets to install around fuel lines, so much "snake oil"...

the latest "snake oil" is the HHO generators that will "double" your gas milage, i spent a week debating these morons who are peddling this crap on youtube and shut down the "comment" area on several of these videos.

I took my car for a Dyno test. During the Dyno the mechanic pointed a fan towards the intake. All of a sudden the readings jumped up. At that point I said to my self the scoop works. So I ordered one. It will even work better with a K&N as it comes out.
Also it adds to the looks. Car looks attractive with it on.
