true, funny, i just disassembled my old 386 that ran DOS 6.0, i started running WIN 95 in the summer of '96 with a dell 486dx2-66, now i'm running a dell vostro 200 core2 duo 2.2 GHz
i went kicking and screaming into WIN95 (i deleted 95 on the dell, and when i couldn't load DOS 6.0 on it, i reloaded 95 and learned to live with it)
i'm not sure about future windows, i hate vista, running 95 and XP on my computers, i'll go linux if windows makes another fat program like vista.
The best OS experience for me was Win3.1 with Cemtral Points PC Tools for Windows running as the shell. Very Mac like, multiple desktops, logins rights etc. and fast as all hell.

the dumbest logo in automotive history! in my opinion.... It refers nothing to the name or brand recognition. It should have been a non letter symbol for compact and forward thinking... WAIT! the car is not considered compact.. its not even sub compact... It's more Micro than anything else.......... maybe it should have been M> or MC> hell just go for it...E= MC2
"µ" would be great, keep 'em guessing what it is, i'll probably "re-brand" mine as a mercedes soon. "µ" might be too difficult for normal people to understand.
I'm not fussed about the logo and would not put a standard M-B badge on my car... there are a lot of Mercedes A Class cars around here that look too much like a fortwo (or forfour)... I don't want to be seen as another one of them.
What does bug me more is that where I live now, in the State of Queensland, the State motto is "The Smart State". Smart this and that all over the place... yet at the gas pump, I'll look like the dude in the cartoon since half the cars here are 4WD SUV's and Utes (on a diesel diet).
Has anyone seen any black "smart" stickers that would suit a yellow on black fortwo... sort of side racing stripe style?
