sit in either chair.. lift the little lever that releases the backrest from its upright position and keep the lever UP. with your shoulders, push back on the seat like if you were going to recline the seat back... when you feel its reached its limit.. keep pushing back!.. I know its scary but all you are doing is bending a small restrictor plate further back. This harms nothing in the seat. It merely increases the range you have to choose from in reclining your seatback. once you have gone back until the seatbelt holder on the side of the seatback hits the interior car panel... you can stop pushing, let the lever go, make sure it locks into position... and marvel at your custom low rider style seats! Now for the important part that every one worries about! actuate the lever once more and RETURN your seat back to its upright position... "and thank you for flying with smart airlines, we know you have a choice....yada yada yada..." no with a grin fro ear to ear jump to the other side and do that one too!
there is a seat mod that cost nothing to do and uses no tools other than you sitting in the seat... if you are interested in doing it, I'll talk you through it. its simple and brakes nothing...

Hate to pun the title of this thread... but doing something stupid would have been paying the Tint Butchers for the hack they did. And to MAKE THEM REPLACE the parts... well... I wouldn't let THEM lay another hand on the car. Get them to pay a com...
As Robert says: see Evilution for an illustrated guide on engine oil change: http://www.evilution.co.uk/index.php?id=198
