I have read that it seems to be more a fault with the brake switch now, and not a sticky shifter that needs lubrication. I hope your problems with this are over. We don't need problems like this dragging down the smart. This small problem has been causing big problems. And all over a brake switch ?
last tuesday i went back to my smart center, they did a test, of course they didn't find anything, the car fails at sub-0F, but they replaced the brake switch and gave me a car wash (after months of a salty smart)
