I have a 09 Rag-Top due for 20K service. I went to closest Smart dealer for the 10K service which is 3 hours form home. Can these cars be serviced by other dealers closer to home or serviced by anyone else? I don't want to mess up warranty, I have extra up to 50K miles, don't want any problems or screw up warranty. Help, Thanks Doug

- I have almost 35,000 on my 2008. I go pretty much by the owners service manual. Went to the dealer one time 2 hrs from home to reset the maintenance light. Probably around 20,000. Cost because I didn't want the service. Light is on again but goes off when you drive for a bit. Have done my own oil changes, air filter changes, cabin air filter changes, etc. Have a sight for you..www.evilution.co.uk This sight has saved me a bunch of money.
