Oil Change Bonanza

Thinking of changing your oil/filter? If there's an Advantage Auto Parts store in your vicinity, they are running a special--5 quarts of Mobil 1 synthetic oil (the MB recommended oil) plus a Mobil 1 oil filter (# M1108) for $26. Sale ends tomorrow, Saturday). Above oil and filter correct only for the 2008 Fortwo U.S. version so far as I know.

Permalink Reply by Gary 20 hours ago: I've changed my oil twice already. I use only dealer supplied filter, has Mitsubishi writing all over it and it cost me $12. Mitsu products are first rate and I would never consider using aftermarket stuff. No one seems certain if the Mobile1 filter is exactly correct for our cars. I'd hate to find out that a $5 savings cost an engine and an argument with Smart USA about who's gonna pay.; ▶ Reply to This
