Here is an aftermarket install radio(JVC) and the Scangauge 2. Took a little work, but the scangauge is the best part, and it was the easiest thing to install. Anyone else install aftermarket radios yet?
instead of paying for the clock and Tach on the dash I installed the new version of the scangauge. Google it, and you will find a ton of information on it. The new model that you can get is only 149.95 if you look around with free shipping. If attaches to the OBD port under your dash and gives you all the information that your computer is doing. Real time RPm's battery voltage, speed , water temp just to name a few. It tracks fuel economy, horsepower, alows you to clear any check engine codes, and helps you identify them if they ever happen. Check out the companies website. It does a ton of things that would take me forever to list here, but it is a good investment I think. Works on any car 1996 and newer. You can tell it when you fill up, how much you pay for gas, and it will tell you how much it costs per mile to run your car.
Very nice install. Someone should try taking the guts out of the Scanguage and making a custom mount - not for the faint of heart and probably not worth the risk of trashing it :)
if we all could be as adventurous as you, my friend! dis-assembling something slightly larger than a pen! to save space!!!! ROTFLMAO
i'd like to get the display inside the speedo! not gonna happen! that is my install, i got the same double DIN panel and the SG2 will reside below the radio (with a hidden compartment, I have a couple of guns that will fit there!)
Looks like that should work good for your setup. I have a few small guns that would work well in there also... My Kel-Tec comes to mind. But when I am not working, I still carry a Full size Sig P245. Check out the photo... See if you can guess my occupation.
I carry a plug repair kit. I have found that every flat I've ever had in the past 20 years has been either a screw or nail in the tire. It's usually a good idea to carry a flat head and phillips screw driver with a pair of pliars. Pull out the nail…
Do the 2010 fortwo's have the same problem that the 2008's have or have they figured out a way to solve many of the transmission problems that the 2008's have had? I just bought my 2010 passion on May 19th, 2010.
Since this is no longer a valid offer, why does it show up on the splash page? It's kind of irritating that test drivers walked away with a bunch of goodies, and my dealer wouldn't cough up anything for buying one.
found a great "vehicle organizer" for my smart. It work really well for all those plastic grocery bags. Fill almost the entire back. Has several rigid dividers to keep everything from sliding around. heavy duty velcro keeps it from sliding. Reall…
