Drive for a Cause

Hey all I am new here and started up a website last month for this cause. My apologies in avanced if this is considered spamming which I do not want to do. Just want to get my cause out. But anywho I started a site to raise money so I can get a smart car for college. I live half an hour away from campus and am just entering college. I did well in school and got a full scholarship to ITT Tech. But have no wheels to get out there. My question is does anyone have any ideas to rally up some money for this cause to help me get a education? also here is the site with a donate button: www.notsmart.net Thanks in advanced for donations. You know how it is just starting out with a minimum wage job going into college. I hope to raise $6,000 because it's tradition in our family that the children pay for half and the parents match whatever we make. So anyways on topic any ideas for this charity event?
