AS I WALKED OUT of THE BRABUS show room I thought you all should be first to find out.
This is true. All of you who want to have a BRABUS 2009 model will be able to order one and drive it home. The best kept secret is the price.

increased MPG with a "re-map", no data. BRABUS smart, it's here, no price...
we should re-name andy as "lucy", she always pulled the football before charlie brown could punt it! he posts half-@$$ed stuff of no real substance. it goes "real fast" and it is "real cool", and asian women in bikinis will actually sit in a smart!

i've been in Quality Control for over 20 years, and there's a little saying:
"If it moves, train it. If it doesn't move, calibrate it. IF YOU DIDN'T DOCUMENT IT, IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!"

The BRABUS Smart for U.S. market model year 2009.
Smart Fortwo BRABUS:
The smart fortwo BRABUS places the primary focus on sportiness. Its three-cylinder petrol engine will have no turbo but a remaped BRABUS ECU. The exterior of the smart fortwo BRABUS is first and foremost characterised by "Monoblock VI" alloy wheels, wider rear wheel arches, a sports exhaust system and fog lights. Furthermore, it has a firmer suspension setup and is lowered by 10 millimetres.
Car will be numbered and limited supply.
The interior of the smart fortwo BRABUS is distinguished from that of standard smart fortwo models by a number of BRABUS styling elements, for example for the gear knob, hand-brake handle and pedals. The speedometer, rev counter and clock also bear the BRABUS signature.
More equipment details will be coming.
Only two colors will be offered.

I think first it will be the car and next they will bring the one with turbo. 2010 will be year of the turbo. I got a invitation for JD to attend a study focus group. They want input about Smart.

Smart America has selected a handful of 451 owners. They are looking at new products and also want information on present day Smart.
Last week we had a study group in L.A. The Smart owners were paid $150 for attending. I was out of the country and could not attend. Will find out what was discussed.
