My new 2009 USA Brabus will be delivered with in the next 90 days. My dealer gave me a 2009 USA Brabus accessories booklet but can't get the prices on anything. These accessories can be added to any smart fortwo, not just a Brabus. The dealer told me to call smartusa and ask them for the prices of the items I am interested in. They told me I have to get the pricing from the dealer,and to check back with them from time to time untill they do. Is there anyone that would have these prices now ?
I am trying to plan ahead. Some of the accessories I would really like to add are :
>18) Brabus sound system - Adds a 100 watt amp and another subwoofer in the pass footwell.
>16) Brabus ambient Lighting - Adds footwell lighting for driver and passenger.
>14) Brabus Light package for side skirts - Adds 3 led spot lights on each side of the car that shine on the ground. (Very Cool)

Depends what passion Non turbo in Italy 30hp. Turbo passion 24hp.
I don't know what they are selling in USA but the Brabus in Italy is 99hp..

Hi Elina, You are correct, it is only a looks thing so far as the current stock USA Brabus is concerned. There is no change to the engine power, still 70 HP. The only thing they added that I think may make it run a little better, is the "BRABUS sports exhaust system" but this remains to be seen.

Hi smarttask or Roger, We are not talking about the same car. The USA Babus here is nothing more then a Passion with Brabus bits added. Non Turbo engine N/A same as a Passion. Monoblock VII (seven), not Monoblock VI (six) as in Italy. I wish I could get your version. I wish I was getting a real Brabus, but in the USA it's not to be. Not yet anyway. If you check the USA configuration you will see I am correct.

Hi smarttask/Roger, Thanks for the link to s-mann however they only seem to have the parts listed as s-mann parts and not Brabus parts. Even though the USA Brabus is not a true Brabus in every sense, the parts or bits that are added are from Brabus. So as I do add accessories to my Brabus I want them to be made by Brabus for the USA smart Brabus. General Motors once had a slogan "Keep your GM all GM" Thats what I want to do with my Brabus. Keep my Brabus all Brabus.
What I was trying to find out with this discussion was the prices for the accessories that are listed in the Brabus accessories booklet that my smart dealer gave me. He could not get the prices from smart so I was hoping someone one else may know. Maybe a wholesale source for original Brabus accessioreis listed in the booklet. This has proven to be very difficult. Most US dealers don't know much about the Brabus more/less the accessories that you can get. And when they do find the part I think they may set there own price. It's like how much are you willing to pay and will get it for you.
I am begining to think thats why they won't publish a price list. It's going to be up to the dealer on how much they want to charge.
So thanks for your help but s-mann is not what I am looking for.

The only problem for you is that the gear knob is different in the USA, but you should get all that stuff with the car, let me know what it is you need and i could find out for you here.

Hi smarttask, Thanks, I love that last link you posted. Looks like they got allot of OEM Brabus bits I just found out today that my Brabus has shipped. I may be using that site sooner then I thought to fill in all the missing parts. Thanks again for all your help.

hi not so and congradulations that your brabus has been shipped. how were you notified and what are the details? maybe you will get a pretty good valentines day presant. i have not heard a word about my brabus since the "90 day email" on dec 9th. my dde was 1/1/09 to 3/1/09 at that time. it has been moving ever since and now says 2/2/09 to 5/3/09 after stuttering a little bit 19 days ago. i guess i should be hearing something soon. i sure hope so. good luck with your delivery and let me hear from you. cheers, bud p.s. i see that you sent me a message 15 hours ago but i could not get it to open. maybe try it again.
