Smart Fog Lights

I wanted to add fog lights to my car and decided to call the dealer to install them. The dealer told me it can't be done. This was News to me can't be done.
Has anyone dealt with this problem.
I would love to add fog lights to my car.

I mentioned earlier, I got the light on ebay and the trim and screws from the Mercedes, so far it cost me $142.88. I don't think that the cruise control will be option for US version Smart Car.... I dewire my car looking for any option that I can connect for CC but, after market ok...I got one...
