The article keeps yammering on about how there are no new models of smart. Why on earth should we need to have something that looks different each year when what we have is excellent? The big three have always depended on people believing that they needed new colors, new shapes, new whatever, rather than building a car that does what it should and works the way it is supposed to. I want quality and that is why I will never again buy an American brand vehicle.
well American companies and to be fair most others as well want to sell you the NEXT one and people are suckered into the whole Bigger, better, more horsepower, 45 cup holders, gps/cd/dvd/bluetooth/backup camera... crap. most gadgets can be had as aftermarket cheaper and with more of what YOU need and less of what they make you want. As far as Bigger, unless I somehow start growing again, I have not changed much since I graduated from high school so I know if I fit in my current car, I dont need my next one to be bigger. the smart is as big as I want,need, and desire... No need to change that.
