Danieal, My husband and I test drove the Passion and the Cabrio and found both to be about the same for road noise. We would be interested in what sound proofing methods you come across.

Commuting in the smart

How does your smart handle on the hwy? Acceleration on merging? And is it easily viewable for other cars, blind spots and such.

No - no news... I hear a rumor that the LA-based Smarts were delayed at the Port of Long Beach, and I'm assuming mine is probably in that box.
