Ok, I admit it. I am stumped. If you look at the "Air Distribution Control Knob" (<<---- anyone want to bet or confirm that in German that is all one word? hehehehe), there is, at the bottom, a little "eye" or lense looking thingy.
I have pored over the owners manual, but I can find no explanation for this item. I initially thought it would be some sort of light that would let me know when the a/c compressor was cycling on and off, but no, that's not it. Is it an internal air tempertaure sensor to tell the compressor when to cycle on and off, perhaps?
Maybe it is a hidden camera so "they" can start watching me again! Now where did I put my medication this morning? (JOKE!) Or is it possible that our German car with a Japanese engine all put together in France also contains a Buddhist dimension?
Anyway, any insight (no pun intened) that may solve this mystery is appreciated. I'm not losing sleep over this mystery ....yet. ;-)
