By the way...in Europe, Premium is even higher octane...(95 instead of 93!) so I would use the premium we have here. At 4.5 gallons, you are talking about 45 cents a tank. I have never put over $15 in my tank, much better than being cut off at $75 when filling my F-150!; ▶ Reply to This

What would a set of Rims for a 451 cost?

I'll be getting a 'Bumblebee' when I finally get to configure, and I think they'd look better with black rims, so I'm thinking of getting a second set and having them powdercoated. I'll keep the originals so I can return the car to 'stock'; ▶ Reply to This

Since there are 550 people on the Houston Sugarland waiting list, I assume that I won't get mine until next year. I'm currently driving a 2000 Honda CR-V that's got 200K miles on it, so I'm hoping it will hold out for when my 451 arrives. Anyway, I reserved a white/black Passion Coupe.

I should mention that the Houston North Smartcenter hasn't opened yet, so don't bother trying to get anything done through them at the moment. The Sugarland Smartcenter was very helpful in answering my questions, though and I thank them for that.

Paul, any idea if MB plans on increasing production because of demand? I realize you can't make any official comment, but I'd love to get my 451 soon. If it takes a year, I may have to look elsewhere for an economic vehicle. Sadly, there isn't anything else out there that's nearly as sporty and fun as the 451. A Corolla isn't very inspiring...; ▶ Reply to This

I stopped by the Sugarland dealership yesterday while I was in the Houston area and took a look at the 451's. I'm seriously in love. I can't wait to get mine. I'm going to have to fight my wife to keep her from taking it from me once I get it. :-D; ▶ Reply to This

I'm already looking for accessories such as fog lights (didn't order from the factory) a rear "boot" mat, and better speakers (and perhaps an amplifier) for the smart radio 10 (which isn't very smart).

Enjoying the car, can't wait for our first fill up to check the mileage.; ▶ Reply to This
