This probably sounds a little foolish, but the beep that is emitted when locking & unlocking my smart is extremely disliked by my dog. She is reluctant to come with me but instead heads for the house. If someone has an idea how this might be silenced please reply.
i have wondered about that as well. sometimes it's cool to BEEP, or BEEP BEEP BEEP. it's not the horn or the alarm siren. you have to trace it down and unplug it, whatever the beeper thing is. whatever it is, it's one wire.
worst case scenerio, carry a doggy treat in your pocket, every time you beep your smart, give doggy a treat, soon it will love to hear your smart BEEP.
Mine does not beep. I consider that to be a very, very good thing. Now I don't have to be one of those people I've always glanced at with disdain in parking lots.... I took mine in today for the 10,000 mile warranty, and loaner I got beeps. I'd have to find a way to disconnect that or shoot the hell out of it if it was mine
Mine doesn't beep. I kinda wish it did to let me knwo the doors are locked. I have to watch the lights to make sure the doors locked OK. Found out the hard way that they won't lock if one is still open. Lost an iPod Touch that way.
