I still have this problem, even after I cleaned the motor plug. Every time it doesn't work I have to go there and shake the plug. I'm tired and ready to solder it.

I had to have this recently replaced under extra warranty. This should be recalled; its defective. Also have had to replace both headlights replaced. Strange.o

Thank U Robert.................I'll try this over the weekend. Did U have this problem? Also I seem to be replacing lamps quite often. Rear left turn lamp twice and low beam headlight lamp.

Go over to: www.smartcarofamerica.com and do a search on this topic. The motor is easy to remove and if you want to repair it, remove the cover and clean up the commutator on the motor armature and reinstall.
