For some, upgrades and improvements come at a furious pace, then there are folks like me. We evaluate every option until our heads spin. I finally decided to take the middle road. I've wanted for some time to improve the sound in my smart. Considering everything from just getting the top end stuff that smart has, keeping it all stock to the audiophile dream/nightmare with a system audible two blocks away, announcing my arrival. I decided to take the middle road. Moderate improvements that can easily be built on if I decide to just kill it. The head unit is from Pioneer. a 5.9" touch screen with just the features I need. First being great sound! To add to it, it will share with me a DVD while I'm having lunch in the parking lot of the local drive thru. It will bring me my calls in rich clear sound via the BlueTooth module from Pioneer/Parrot. And of course my iPod can be direct linked, so I can control all I need to on the screen, no fumbling. Nav... Nope, I have a wonderful Nav service via my wireless service. I never have to worry about updating the maps or software. All the sound finds it way into the smart via 2 Alpine 6.5" Speakers with nicely placed component tweets tucked into the doors. And nestled behind the passenger seat is a 10" Sub/Amp combo by BOSS. It does the job very well and I get to enjoy all my audio with just enough boom, or too much if I want. Well I guess that's enough for today.

That would be nice but that's not the case here in California. Did you have any problems with the replacement winshield or the install ? Was it a factory windshield ?

Since a lot of dealers have a Brabus or two in inventory now. I am thinking maybe the base price of $17,990.00. Then the buyer only has to pay their state sales tax plus tags. They will save dealer fees, plus the cost of freight and options on you...
