Luckily so far this winter, not gotten stuck and no flat tires, but maybe if gas keeps going up I'll be calling them to say "I ran out of gas, again..." to get the free fill ups from the roadside assistance program, but am wondering have any of the members had any experience with the smart roadside assistance program?

I have used the twice with my 05 smart - found them excellent and very fast ... MB always sends flatbeds for smarts.

great, i was wondering where to call..."just in case" you'd think they'd put it somewhere prominent, or at least in the owner maunal "packet". my old metro had the sticker on the rear windows, the smart just has "smart alarm" decals. the funny part is who'd steal one? there is no "market" for 451 parts...yet... i'm almost tempted to buy the red panels, but that might cause problems with police and the idiots at my condo complex... (parking nazis) it would be fun to get "free gas" every few weeks LOL

I called when 7 days after I got the car, the check engine light came on. They were able to connect me to the nearest dealer who helped me get the car to the dealership. I had not heard of the run out of gas part.. Interesting...

yes, once, the first number gets the info, and if you got extended warranty they tell you to call another # that will make all the arrangements to haul your car to the dealer or place of repairs....very good service
