I understand that BRABUS TURBO will come to USA in next 12 months if the model sells well. Dec/2009 BRABUS TURBO.

Everybody should wait for "THE ONE" - THE TURBO!!

Someone in UK already has a Monoblock VI knockoff for half the price and the rest is just ECU remap and badging.

With over $3k in our baby which puts us at $20k invested incuding a 30-shot of NOS that will spank the non-turbo brabus anyday, we will stick with it until the REAL DEAL arrives - then add even more goodies.

I know Mr. Kahn will be in line as soon as the turbo comes to our shores, and we will too...

I think the non turbo Brabus is an insult to all of us waiting for the REAL one. the 09 Brabus is a total poser!!!!

Same here... Australia has had the BRABUS accessory options (body trims, wheels, gas flap logo, hand brake lever, gear change knob.. duhh) offered this year. Engine turbo tune: no. At least we get the standard turbo option.

There was a post today that the BRABUS was now available as a US order option. Out of insatiable curiosity I checked the US order web site. No sign of it. My guess is that the US is now offered the decorative BRABUS trims that Australia has been offered this year. Total poser. No thanks.

(Has anyone in smart USA bothered to ask smart Australia how few BRABUS accessories have sold here?)

I shall scream it: what the USA needs is the pulse turbo option: 84 bhp turbo with wide wheels! ... is Penske listening?

(Did another 300 km yesterday... 2850 km now on the clock, loosening up nicely; the pulse turbo is a whole barrel load of performance fun!)

Cheers, Ian

Yes Turbo will be good. Remap it and ready for some good canyon runs.

Maybe the car is a little quicker with better brabus exhaust, air filter and gearbox tuning? In Europe we have the real Brabus with 98BHP and they claim 20% better shifting times, comparing to the normal 451. I drove both, but didn't notice a difference. Only thing was that the brabus shifting was less smooth, more jerky but not quicker.

Carlos you were asking about if BRABUS spoiler works or not?
The spoiler comes down much lower then the original Smart front lip. It also dips low in front of the front tires. I think adding the rear spoiler and front both help the car.

My next Smart is going to be Brabus Turbo.

Hi there, has anyone measured the lowering difference between stock lip and BRABUS spoiler lip? It looks like it is only 1/2" can you give an accurate measure at its lowest point when compared to stock?
