It way time to do some surgery on the Smart.
I decided that the horn in the Smart is a week link and needed my attention. I decided to replace it with the best name in the industry Hellla. Except I wanted the horn loud and the best choice was Hella Twin horns. Hella Horns are loud and can blow your years out if you are not careful. The install is simple just remove the old horn use the same mounting screw that the old horn used and then install the second one on the opposite side. Very simple operation but the results are tremendous.

I think the pics give a very clear picture of how to install the horns.
I would have never thought of doing this If I would have not seen the pics.

I found the pictures helpful.

I forgot to mention that having a good horn also improves gas millage. For those of you who are looking to improve MPG this is a good upgrade.

HUH??? WTF are you talking about???

Well people don't cut in front of you. You don't have to brake.

I second that.

WTH have they to do with mpg... use them to declare a siren alert so everyone gets off the road to let you through??

it's after the fact, people will cut you off and slow you down, you hit the horn after they cut you off. you will still have to brake, slow down and lose MPG.

Great news about the mileage! ;-)

Will this void the factory warranty? :-(

Ok People... why are you debating this? do you not know the difference between literal and figurative? I am so abundantly confident that the idea that loud horns improve your MPG was merely a joke. Smart owners are sometimes so so serious. Hey Kahn I want to tuck up behind and draft while your blasting your hella's... then we can both share the improved MPGs.
