Hey guys! I'm very interested in all the details about the Smart. I've read almost everything there is to know on the internet. I just want to read the official manual. If anyone has or knows were to look, please let me know. There has to be one somewhere, in PDF format or something...

they don't offer a reader's digest version, man this is like the "war and peace" version of manuals!!!! this is my 7th new car and it's HUGE!!!! i mean other manuals are like 50-60 pages, 300+ pages is rediculous, and 75% of it is silly shit! it's supposed to be a smart manual, and 90% of it is like DUH!!!!!! if i was the editor, i could make it 30-40 pages, and still be informative....

Holy cow! That's insane. Well, don't worry about sending it then. That's way too much hassle. I'll just have to wait and see it for myself whenever I can get my SMART. How do you like yours by the way?

i only drove it last monday, about 60 miles... i have to sell my current car before i can get a parking permit for it at my condo. it was pretty cool, handles like a go cart, i'll probably go driving in it sunday. no radio and crutchfield hasn't gotta a smart to work on yet, smart has a "non radio friendly" panel in the dash where the radio should go, you'd think they'd put a standard size pop-out panel in it, but NOPE! speakers look like 6-1/2"s and the manual sez to unscrew the antenna before going thru a car wash.

I've been hoping to find a copy of an owners' manual. My smart is still months away... by the time I take delivery, I'll now know more than the dealer (LOL)

the manual is actually quite vacant on real details, sort of like a barack obama speach, a lot of words, no content! it doesn't tell you tire pressures, recommended fluids, etc... it does tell you the tire repair kit and battery are hidden in the passenger footwell (sneaky!)
for the most part, the manual is "blah, blah, blah". i could write a better manual and it would be 30-40 pages, not 300+! i already know more than smart associates (order takers) by owning the car and hanging out at owner sites like this one.

sorry guys i had a bit of a blonde moment and said that my smart was LHD but its a RHD UK spec, BUT STILL no room underdash for subwoofer
ITS BECAUSE YOU GUYS PUT THE STEERING WHEEL ON THE WRONG SIDE!!!
the sub goes under the dash on the right side of the cab IN left hand drive smarts.....
My wife has gotten a new set of chrome wheels for her birthday. So ....
